ITINERARY

DAY 1: WELCOME TO SIBENIK! (WD)

Welcome to Croatia! Transfer from Split airport to Sibenik harbor where you will be welcomed by our cruise representative. Check-in starts from 13:00h and we depart around 16:00h for Skradin, the medieval town where the sea and river become one. Cruising down the Krka river canyon, discover its raw beauty and see why it hosts one of the most beautiful national parks in Croatia. Skradin is a romantic Dalmatian town with narrow paved stone streets and passages that will make you enjoy every step you take there. The Welcome Dinner will be served in the evening aboard the ship and your cruise manager will introduce you to the entire crew. For late arrivals, the airport transfer can be organized directly to Skradin to join the ship there.

Overnight in Skradin.

DAY 2: SKRADIN – ZADAR (B, L)

Early in the morning, we set sail for Zadar, one of the oldest inhabited towns in the region and the historic capital of Dalmatia since Roman times! This is a town that does not mind exploring new art forms and ideas to enrich its extraordinary setting and complement its grand physique. Zadar is both a peaceful community and a dynamic modern center that greets everyone with open arms and leaves a lasting mark on every enamored visitor! You’ll have time for a swim stop along the way and lunch served on board as we sail towards Zadar. After arrival in the late afternoon, join us for a walking tour of Zadar’s historical center and admire the old walls and Port Gate, Square of the Five Wells, the Church of St. Donat, and the unavoidable Sea Organ.

Overnight in Zadar.

DAY 3: ZADAR – TELASCICA (B, L, CD)

Early in the morning we set sail to National Park Kornati and the Telascica Bay located in the central part of the eastern Adriatic Sea, and on the south-eastern part of the island of Dugi Otok. Swim stop along the way and lunch served while sailing. Known for its extreme beauty, richness in flora and fauna, and importance in preservation efforts, this bay is surrounded by 13 islands and islets, together with 6 islets inside the bay itself, it was proclaimed a protected Nature Park in 1988 because of its valuable flora and fauna, geological and geomorphological phenomena, versatile sea life, and interesting archaeological heritage that you are sure to appreciate! This evening you will be invited to the Captain’s Dinner on board the ship.

Overnight on anchor in the Telascica bay.

DAY 4: TELASCICA – PRIMOSTEN (B, L)

This morning we will sail south through the Kornati National Park, leaving beautiful Telascica behind and sailing towards Primosten, a small town located between Sibenik and Split. A morning swim stop on the way and lunch served on board as we sail. Upon arrival, you will have free time to explore this small and picturesque town and its old town and enjoy one of its beautiful sunsets.

Overnight in Primosten.

DAY 5: PRIMOSTEN – HVAR (B, L, D)

Early in the morning, we set sail to Hvar, the longest island in Croatia, the sunniest in all of Europe (2724 sunny hours each year), and undeniably among the most beautiful islands in the world. There will be a swim stop along the way and lunch served during sailing. Upon arrival join the guided tour of Hvar and learn why this amazing town is a must-see on the historical map of Croatia. Later in the afternoon, we will visit the UNESCO-protected Stari Grad Plain, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful sunset and the traditional local products of the Hora farmstead and a tasty “peka” dinner, surrounded by olive groves and fields of lavender. Later in the evening, you will have free time to explore the beautiful town of Hvar.

Overnight in Hvar.

DAY 6: HVAR – BLUE CAVE – VIS (B, L)

In the morning, before breakfast, we sail towards Bisevo and the unique natural phenomenon that is the Blue Cave. The Blue Cave is a wonder of the Adriatic Sea and the most attractive sight of the island of Vis, and you will get to see for yourself why so many people visit it each year. After the visit to the Blue Cave*, before lunch on board, you will have time to enjoy a swim stop. Upon arrival to the island of Vis proper, we will have a Military tour of the island of Vis. Discover the amazing history of the so-called “Key of the Adriatic”! We will walk through the now abandoned underground military installation with its miles of tunnels and emplacements dug into the living rock, visit the highest peak of the Island- mountain Hum and climb to Tito’s cave. Incredible view from the highest peak on the middle dalmatian islands, the smell of aromatic herbs, history secrets, and walking through underground tunnels will be quite an experience. Be prepared to be active and wear good shoes. When we will walk through the underground tunnels you will be offered helmets and flashlights.

Overnight in Vis.

*Please note that the Blue Cave is only accessible with small boats through an entrance just 1.5m high so it is unfortunately easily made inaccessible by even slightly choppy seas.

DAY 7: VIS – SIBENIK – KRKA NP (B, L)

This morning we will leave Vis behind and sail towards Sibenik. On our way, we will make a short swim stop to enjoy the Sibenik archipelago. Upon arrival to Sibenik, your bus will be waiting for you to take you to visit Krka National Park, one of Croatia’s most famous national parks. The top attractions of the park are its magnificent waterfalls, including the famous Skradinski Buk falls which are one of Croatia’s most famous sights. After this amazing experience, we will go back to Sibenik, a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage and upon arrival, we’ll have a guided tour of the old town so you can get acquainted with it all. Your night is free to explore the city by yourself.
